ABOUT EDUCATION
This standard applies to Juno Beach and Tequesta as well, as they are all in the same school district.
The Palm Beach School District has a very direct but simple and clear mission statement:

The Goals of the School Board are to:
1. Increase literacy in reading, writing, and mathematics, for all students, including students in Exceptional Student Education and English for Speakers of Other Languages, with an emphasis on grades K-3.
2. Improve achievement at critically low performing schools and among students in Quartile One district wide.
3. Provide safe and nurturing school environments that are free of drugs, alcohol, firearms and harassment, and where standards of appropriate and ethical behavior are upheld.
4. Implement a challenging curriculum, including methods for individualized and group instruction, that supports the Board's mission and goals.
5. Provide continuous staff development that supports the Board's mission and goals.
6. Institutionalize and correct, as needed, financial and management practices that are sound and accountable.
7. Increase involvement by parents, business and other community interests through partnerships designed to achieve both management and academic improvement and accountability.
8. Provide experiences that prepare students for productive citizenship.
WHAT IS SPECIAL ABOUT AREA?
Again what applies to Jupiter also applies to Juno Beach and Tequesta. The over 100 miles of waterfront, some of the most pristine beaches in the world, the average year round temperature of 75 degrees, a solid business climate, excellent restaurants, cultural events, parks, and marinas make this area a unique place to live and work or retire.
Upcoming Projects in Jupiter
Riverwalk and Inlet Village District
The Riverwalk will be a 2.5 mile linear park from Ocean Way to the south, following the eastern shoreline of the Intracoastal Waterway north to the Jupiter Inlet. The Riverwalk promises a variety of experiences along the way - a "trail" corridor, a yacht basin, public docks, a fishing platform, a waterway entertainment section, and an Inlet Promenade.

Jupiter may have been the oldest English settlement in Florida. There are some artifacts that were found at an archeological dig that show this possibility. Jupiter, formerly known as Jupiter Beach, was the first town settlement in Palm Beach County. A small group of citizens formed and incorporated the town of Jupiter in 1925. Many pioneer families continue to reside here.
